Sub pay

I have no explanation other than BNY Mellon trying to motivate people to leave. I'm wondering if you asked about sub pay (in case you didn't receive it) and what were you told?

It’s a beautiful thing that Robin is doing. Sub should be for displaced workers who actually did work. Robin inherited the remnants of Todd where every employee terminated for cause earned a free year off. That obviously cannot stand.

Not sure why everyone thinks the sub pay changed. It’s the same as it’s always been - 2 weeks for each year of service with a 4 week minimum and 52 week maximum. What’s the issue? Fired with cause — you don’t get it. Never have. This isn’t new.

It’s increasingly clear at this point that those displaced without SUB were terminations for cause and the pattern is largely noncompliance with RTO. People who don’t show up for work aren’t getting a package. Productive people displaced are receiving SUB.

This may well be the least coherent post ever on this board.

What their company like he’s don’t realize is a lot of us who are not “engaged employees“… is a direct result of how we’ve been treated- I used to work hard and care. But not anymore. I care about seeing my paycheck deposited into my account twice a month & logging off each day to spend time with my family

Absolutely.

Until now they had treated people who retired after a long career far worse than those slackers who were displaced. Retiree has only their savings and twenty five cents on the dollar from the systematically gutted pension plan.

Displaced people got a years SUB-sidized vacation, twenty five cents on the dollar from the remnants of the gutted pension plan and their savings.

BNYM whacked… why would you subsidize the slothful workers and steal from the hardworking engaged workers?
