Bonus for laid off employees?

Has anyone who was laid off received word re: bonus?

There is zero chance of a bonus after a layoff. Even retirees who leave before payout get shafted with no bonus. This is a sick culture with no integrity.

This is a bald faced lie. Todd presided over zero layoffs over his entire tenure as CEO. This is why employees love his open and honest leadership.

That’s simply not true… Todd never had a layoff. lHowever, what Todd Did do was to give the SUB package to employees who were being terminated for cause.

@1qlf, you're right, layoffs imply that you may be brought back. Todd claimed he eliminated my position and FIRED me instead of transitioning me to another position. Then magically, all the projects I was going to be working on was done by offshore people.
My position wasn't eliminated, it was sent to India!
He did it to thousands of employees just as covid was peaking and they were getting ready to roll out the vaccine to older people.

They just started to disclose the numbers. For many laid off, if you are bonus eligible you may to notified last. It really depends on your manager- do they want to get it over and put it behind them or are they dreading it so they are procrastinating? I can see both scenarios. The letter with the number should not be available until your (ex) manager releases it, but it's BNYM so anything is possible.
Separate, but related, the fact that your ex-manager has to do this is absurd. They should give you the number when they tell you your package.

OK here is a serious reply to a legitimate question, as opposed to the other nonsense below.

I like you was laid off and have not received any word of payout, if any. I asked my HRBP on exit whether I would be bonus eligible and they replied affirmative, subject to management's discretion. So I remain hopeful, however, realistic about the situation. Despite all the goodwill I hope I generated and the great work I did the reality is....if it were up to me where would I spend bonus money....on people I know will be there or some other person no longer part of their lives?

Notice in the separation portal there is a tab for "Documents" that looks just like the tab that was in the comp system....perhaps our letters will show up there someday?

In any event we will know either way in a couple weeks......
