Grade I - $60k bonus $600-$1000 pittsburgh
Grade J 100k bonus 25k pittsburgh
I can assure you that the next K level making $100k with a $30k bonus which is (30%!) will be the very first. Most posters on this board seem to live in an alternate reality as far as I can tell.
Massachusetts, $130k, $10k bonus, K level
People it’s pretty basic and as old as time. This isn’t socialism… it’s Freedom. Your career or lack of one is totally on you. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Envy, jealousy the human condition from the beginning. You want what your neighbor has? Perhaps you can ask advice on how you can get there. It’s a better path than coveting or stealing it. Look in the mirror and honestly ask yourself why you are not rising in salary or bonus. Take risks and you’ll learn that the sky is the limit.
Pgh. K.
116k + around 15% bonus each year.
As an I made 102k with 18k bonus in Jc now a k level 120k haven’t received bonus numbers yet ..
Grade S: Salary 350k; bonus 600k (stock and cash)
Man these # seem way off. I'm an L and make close to $180k but my last years bonus was basically $0 since I started 8 months in. I wonder what typical L level bonus is since I would have assumed closer to $30k or 20% but K level makes $100k and makes $30k bonus which is 30%!
I let in 2017. I was a J in NYC and I was making 107k with a 3.5k bonus. I make a lot more now :)
Pittsburgh Grade K. $120,500. Bonus wildly variable from $9K to $20K with no rhyme or reason. I work only one way - full speed ahead 60 hours a week 3,000 hours a year, with as few errors as humanly possible. Don’t know why the bonus changes.
49 k no bonus Pittsburgh G....<- working man is a su---r
Wow 250k + bonuses?!?! For M. & S grades.
Many are client facing, but many more are upper middle management.
But It’s political & incestuous. Nobody ever applies and interviews for these jobs through HR. Their contacts suggest that they go for the job and put the word out. I know of cases where HR doesn’t even want to interview the chosen ones but they still get the job. If you are truly on a career track you never even have to interview or tell your manager that you’re leaving until you know for sure that you have the position. Better yet you get to negotiate pay.
Not just BONY, It’s that way at most major banks.
M grade. 215k base and 250k bonus
Asset Servicing
S grade. 230 base and discretionary bonus (1-3x base depending on the year)
Lmao sitting here making not even 50k, what are these jobs? Are they all client facing?
I grade, NYC, $100k plus $30-40k bonus
107k J grade in JC - bonus ranges every year
K level 120K is 18k bonus… JC
Not sure what all the hubbub is with salaries. I’m in NYC make plenty, enough to buy a nice new 🚜
I’m one of those underpaid nyc Ks but am going to another firm paying me 40k more
I was 160k salary 300k bonus. Now 0 salary 0 bonus
@uka+1jDyWZ8Y the ranges that were posted are wildly inaccurate. No one makes less than $18.00 an hour.
NYC jobs all show the range now on the career site
You nyc people making less than 100 as a K are getting taken advantage of, I hope you realize that. There have to be 50+ banks in nyc that’d pay you almost double that.
92 K, grade J DE
Pgh 99k. J grade. 5k bonus
97K k grade NYC 10k bonus
