Charlotte Area RTO invite for Jan. 19th

I just received my return to office for January 19th today. I work on a floor where no one has had the option to just work from home still if they want too or hybrid etc. Everyone has been 5 days a week since going back. I am praying they move this back. This variant is getting everyone sick including people like me that are vaccinated and boosted. I really just don’t want to get it ever!! Mild or not. Can people share what they have etc to get to stay home longer? Nervous in Charlotte. I forgot to mention I know of more than a handful or people that have really died from Covid before someone says that. Troll someone else. Thanks

Wells Fargo indefinitely postponed their return to office. I am so disappointed that our company is not doing the same. Do you know you don't have to wear masks in the office as long as you are at your desk? I suppose the particles you breath are contained in your cube and won't travel. There will be a big surge of BOA infections.

I’m going to continue to WFH until this pandemic is gone and until that sorry excuse for a president stops trying to scare everyone with death and dying. When those id--ts at the WH grow the eff up and stop bullying people, maybe I’ll grace the office with my presence. Until then, I’m not RTO, not when the leaders are trying to scare everyone.

Play their game. Pretend you’re scared. WFH until it feels safe and healthy to return to office.

@4hji+1ekFPotW To the pro WFH forever, it's called a job, go to work, you lazy grumbler. You can still get your Orange Mocha frapuccino at your local Starbucks, but you won't have it in upown. Time to leave your timeshare and get back to to the office. Either return to work or go back to O-H-I-O, you arrogant Midwesterner bro.

To the pro RTO poster (troll)… Do you actually work at BAC or do you have a small business interest in uptown Charlotte? I’m going to say it’s the latter.

A very small % of employees in back office corporate jobs wants to RTO and are “happy to be back”. The bank has been trying to RTO for 3 months now and yet offices still are largely vacant. The ones that are coming into the offices part-time look miserable to be there and most are calling it a day at 3:30 to drive home. It is just simply a fact that so far the RTO policy has been an abrupt failure.

Good, Tryon St has been a ghost town and it'll benefit the local economy and community having workers back. If your vaccinated don't sweat it and enjoy being in the office again. Don't be a stay at home loser.

There is most definitely this phenomenon where certain people have latched onto C19 as their purpose in life the past two years. As if the reason they get out of bed each day, is to absorb that fearp*Rn that provides an emotional stimulus.

Psychiatrists will be studying the human reaction to C19 for decades. It is truly fascinating.

We were told we our return to office date is 1/12/21. We were forced to disclose our vaccination status. Soon after that we got the email. The only way you can continue to stay out of the office is if you are considered high risk medically. You need your doctor to fill out a form and BOA to approve it. I don't know how long that extends your work from home status. I just don't understand how they can allow some to be "my work" and not allow others to choose during the pandemic.

@kic+1ekFPotW It is a secure floor with all calls monitored and recorded call center environment but most of us have been working from home just fine. Once we are back in the office though you can’t just work from home if you feel like it or need to unless you are sick etc. So not sure the rush to have us back. Especially now.

It would be statistically impossible that you have buried "too many friends and family," if we just extrapolate from the American (or global) annual mortality rate.

But fantasy land is fun too. Sometimes that gives us purpose in life, doesn't it?

Most other businesses are back in the office, even at the bank most people are back. Children are back in school, stores are open and doing fine, what makes you special? If you just don't want to go back because your lazy, just admit that and quit your job, don't hide behind covid drama.

@1aie+1ekFPotW and @1xrw+1ekFPotW need to GFY. I have buried too many friends and family to listen to your BS. This is real. You need to staff that company line right up the tailpipe.

you are vaxxed and getting sick. At what stage in this poorly-scripted drama do you accept what is happening?

How sick are your unvax friends?

I guess you'll never step outside of your house or apartment ever again or even get out of your bed since there's a chance you might get into an accident or slip and fall.

Get sick? What are we, humans?

Which LOB is requiring 5 days a week please? Better question, which LOB is showing up 5 days a week? I'm curious as I don't know of anyone that is showing up in the office full time.

Are they really enforcing full time RTO on your team? There are many people who have already RTO’d on my floor and now only go into the office occasionally, even managers. It seems to be completely voluntary how many days you come in after you initially report on your RTO date.
