Senior Managements enjoy stopping by there and they are very sweet.

Guess the old Organic Growth Powerpoint deck still doesn’t work. But with no leadership talent and no new ideas what’s left except stealing from our own employees….

Who are ‘they’ in your response, ‘.. they mean all US employees’ . I am beginning to doubt your own gender orientation.

@4ias
They mean all their U.S. employees.

There are more this month and more in February for UK, India (yeah right) and EMEA. The rest should see another round within the next couple days. Something is expected but I haven’t heard what. And the thought is they are downsizing to prepare for it

Speaking of top heavy - Seems like 70% of employees in CAO are director level an above

Layoffs is a routine cycle that happens at every company. I just hope they layoff a fair share of MDs and Ds because we're sure getting top heavy.

Be serious. Last year was the lightest layoff year in 40 years.

If you truly believe that 2023 was bad then 2024 is going to blow your mind.

Growth ventures hasn’t done anything significant. It’s just a make believe group to match our competitors

The January layoffs were planned back in October / November of last year. It’s a done deal people. More will come as and if needed to appease the quarterly profit gods. The pattern is set and will continue for years.

Every year is worse than the year before since 2008 when the rich brawn bought the smart Bank and mismanaged us into utter incompetence.

I highly doubt that this is true. U.S.Growth Ventures have been doing a fine job shrinking us and our customers for decades.

Why would management change course now?

Why change what’s obviously working?

Very likely. We scheduled our earnings call for Friday which is great to announce bad news such as a huge restructuring charge. I'm sure our earnings will still be good but we love to show charges in the first quarter so we can explain how difficult things are when we're handing out 1% raises.
