You work your butt off every single day and what do you get as a reward? More work. No promotion, no raise, just more piled on your plate. Why bother?

@bb I tried that for a few runs. They did not Serv my Fi. So I left.
You get skills and habits from working hard, and you become smooth-brained from becoming mentally lazy.
With your skills you earn, you leave Fiserv it no longer Servs your Fi.
It's a good paying job while it lasts. Don't ki-l yourself for it.

True, hard work only gets you more work. I remember a saying I heard from a manager, "if you want something done, give it to a busy person."
@bb Not really worth it for most people to stretch themselves at a job. Most of the time in most places this doesn't work. Best way to get promoted or get a raise is to change jobs.
@OP, I would say just do your job duties within your job description in the allotted time you signed up for and no more. Put in the right effort to do things correctly and get things done on time, but don't go beyond that. Use the energy conserved to look for another job and once you get a better offer, just take it and leave. Standard 2 weeks notice before resignation; no more, no less. Thank them for the opportunity and leave.
The reward you get is your paycheck. If you want a promotion, stretch yourself beyond your regular job responsibilities. Bring and implement new ideas. Give them a reason to promote you. If/when they don't, at least you'll have a great resume to start shopping around for a higher level position and/or money.
@OP you shouldn’t exhaust yourself. This is an inept company. Best thing you can do is find another job.
