So once the VSP requests are all processed by/before the 27th, how long do you all suspect it'll be before the involuntary layoffs begin?

@a2 should I request pip?
@cn Considering they PLs are the ones who do the day-to-day work with individual contributors, in an ideal world they would have a great deal of say. If they have to discharge one or two people, for example, they can theoretically select their two poorest performers.
I think people will be informed in early August.
From what I have understand VPs were given lists of both VSPs and ISPs (Internet Service Provider obv).
My guesses:
1) What levels were involved in terms of input in the ISP process will vary by org, but you'd be foolish to think your PL didn't have at least some feedback to offer.
2) Your PL, depending on their title, may very well NOT know yet.
@a2 So do leaders already know who's going to get laid off? My PL pretends like she knows absolutely nothing.
Those who are involuntarily laid off will they get the severance like the VSP minus the extra month? Just curious if anyone knows?
In London calling, Sarah stated that employees part of the involuntary layoffs would be told by the first week of August.
As a leader, I know it will be around the same timeframe.....possibly the first week of August. Leaders were given a choice of allowing the staff to work until a specific date (not given to us though!) or left those staff members go the day they are told. The only people I know for sure who are on the involuntary list are those on a PIP.
