@OP In my opinion, Two entire departments of over 150 researchers RIFed in US and Internationally in Feb and mid-June. More reductions to come with new Bell Labs head. Nokia leadership is clearly lost when they have to cut employees from their MAIN ASSET of less than 1% (600 researchers) from approximately 77000
employees due to budget constraints.

I think OP is referring to Bell Labs. I heard many cuts in Standards org as well.
