RIF employee here and my separation agreement contradicts what SNPS had Etrade do with all non-vested RSUs.
All of my 2023 and 2024 RSUs that were awarded during that period should have been fully vested right away. The 2025 RSUs should be fully vested all the ones that would have vested in the next 12 months from the terminate date.
They canceled all of them.
Calling SNPS stock services right now so everyone affected by the RIF should check their etrade account.
@dq Same boat here. I called SNPS stock plan number and complained.
I got some news. They did that to all RIF individuals from the last wave now ending their garden leave period. They're quietly trying to sweep this under the rug and not let anyone know. They stated it was an Etrade automated mistake. Hmmmm, okay!
They're in the process of reinstating them right now and accelerating them full vesting. That should be fully processed by late next week. Wait and See!
I would take a screen shot of the grant number and the number of shares that got canceled along with total number of full vested shares you have right now. That will verify what they changed during the acceleration process.

I’m having similar issues. I noticed an Etrade alert that the RSU plan was canceled but no alert of new shares released. And of course their stock takes a big hit right as garden leave ends. I was going to cash prior to its end once the RSU vested. Saw this coming haha. I want to wash my hands of this company for good but may have to hold a touch longer.
@am Garden leave is an employment practice where a departing employee remains on the company payroll during their notice period but is instructed to stay away from the workplace and stop performing duties.

This individual's post is about the RSUs they had before getting laid off not receiving new ones this cycle as a SNPS employee. They're saying the ones that originally had that were not vested yet are gone now. That's bad!
Looks like an ANSS person that had terms in their separation agreement to accelerate them directly after the garden leave ends and the termination date.
