Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Is this really how it works?

January submit names. Lay off in Feb. March termination date.
April submit names. Lay off in May.
June termination date.
July submit names. Lay off in August. September termination date.
October submit names. Nov lay off. December termination date.

Is this true? Is this how layoffs happen at BNY?

Well, the first 2 have happened so I don’t see why the last 2 wouldn’t

@a5+1jy21e9e8 They’re laying off India too. I’ve had several suddenly disappear for “efficiencies.”

Yes this is how it happens and BNY is not a real company.

There are definitely layoffs after each review period for sure. You also have layoffs in between for anyone not hitting their in office requirements too . They are asking for 800 heads by end of year but dont worry they’ll have India try to replace you . They dont need to be knowledgeable. They just need to help reduce expense
