Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

RTO for Berkeley Heights location?

Current policy for the location is 2 day WFH. Berkeley Heights location is currently parking infrastructure limited to house all ppl in the office everyday.

Do you guys think the RTO office will be enforced on berkeley heights as well?

@bn I thought BH received tax breaks due to a specific number of butts in seats (and employees paying taxes in the area). How many can the company cut and still get the breaks?

The garage never got built because the end-plan was a mass reduction of people in this location, in which case there is enough parking for the folks left behind. (partly due to AI)

I guess there is an article in WSJ about potential buyers

The company is imploding partially because of all these horrible policies like RTO. Honestly it is to the point that the employees left will probably survive as the business is split apart. They can't just stop supporting bank cores for example, they have to support it until Bank's deconvert. Honestly I wouldn't be that worried as an employee. It will take many years to split Fiserv up if it comes to that.

The company’s imploding, we are selling off the largest debit card network to try to survive, and you folks are worried about RTO!? Frankly nothing really matters. This company is in the process of selling off divisions to avoid bankruptcy. The parking is the least of the problems.

No. All the talk I've heard has Berkeley Heights exempt.

@a2
Yeah that su-ks. But did you hear any talks about mandating the 5 days return to office policy in berkeley heights as well given the parking situation?

It's actually 3 days a week and there is really no plan to build the deck they were talking about. It was a reprieve for many people who were ready to walk. I think they will suffer the same exodus if they try to go back with the disastrous parking situation.
