This site gets rather nasty and opinionated. My original post simply stated I was let go after 26 years without a performance review. All stated goals they approved were exceeded. Some poster said ‘smell that’ like I must have done something wrong. I didn’t. Trust me this is how BNY works now. If you didn’t get a review you are going to be let go or be placed on a list for next time. Based on my tenure I should have received a year severance/ supplemental. They spun that to 12 weeks. That is the current operating model. I’m not vetting, simply informing.

I just reported my manager to HR. What a great feeling this is even if it amounts to nothing. She avoids me. May’be she wont avoid this. I haven’t felt this good since the day before I started here.

According to the corporate line, managers were supposed to submit their feedback on our annual review on/by 12/20/2024 and also have scheduled a 1x1 meeting to go over it. And compensation discussions are until the 20th. You must be one of those dips-ts that pass for management. Go find yourself a window high up and do the needful.

So many uneducated comments on here. Depending on rating , mgrs have until 1/20 to deliver reviews. Especially if you were rated lower. So lets not jump out the window and “create a violation “ anything as some dipsh-t suggested

For all of you who have had no meetings and no annual reviews, you really need to create a violation ticket and send to HR to report these managers by name. You are going to very likely become Tuna Melt heroes soon anyway. So you may as well get some satisfaction on snitching these sycophantic cowards out and making trouble for them. They aren’t meeting company expectations by behaving this way.

What that means most likely is they will let you go and try to not pay the amount of severance/ supplemental you should receive. It just happened to me and others I’ve spoken with. No rto violations or any other violations in my case. All performance goals exceeded. No review given. Unfortunately, is becoming very dicey in there. Best of luck to you!
