They see us as numbers with no rights and no needs. They act like what we want couldn't mean less and do the opposite of what would make the majority of employees happy. We're at the point where people are praying to be laid off just to get away - tell me that's not messed up!

Leadership out of touch and desperately want to promote “collaboration and bonding” team building events with long drives to the location to “ team build”. No thank you. There’s a thing called inflation and high gas prices. I think I’d rather buy groceries instead of team build.
You have quite a few rights, including the right to quit. Trust me I get it and most of us are in the same position (overworked and under-recognized while promotions go to friends rather than those truly deserving), but let's not pretend we don't have the choice to leave.
