Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Why would any of us want to stay here?

Job security and growth are both nonexistent. Pay is subpar. Those are the three main things when it comes to a job. I honestly don't understand how more people are not looking for a way out. I am, and it can't happen soon enough. In fact, I'd even welcome being laid off right now.

@7gro, the fact that we had a quarter of a billion dollar severance charge the last six months would show you are incorrect. Your boomer feelings don't erase facts.

I’ve here too long, but I tell any of my younger coworkers, get the experience, put it on your resume, and actively seek employers who will pay you what you’re worth. BNY never will.

@fbu

You are a little troll. Enough.
You have no knowledge to offer anyone. You are outdated and should move on.

Even though I am BAH I still don't like my job. Sometimes it has nothing to do with going into an office. As a whole the bank has gotten worse to work for. Getting sick of hearing about RTO, at least you people have an office to go to.
