@xt5 A/P as well. All of the US based reps are gone already. The OP360 team in the Philippines goes in a few weeks weeks then it will be all gone. Keeping a few supervisors and management for a little bit after that
@xt5 Well India went live Monday, they are now running A/R and customer service. The few of us left will most likely get our walking papers next month.

@x3p OMG! YES! THAT HANDSHAKE! And, yet, he couldn't hurt a soul. You just dont see people like him every day. No one had any idea what his job was there except to boost morale perhaps and je was great at that
@x3p My last few weeks there I was telling customers what was going on. Most were very upset, some said they'll be taking their business elsewhere. Many said well then if they're getting cheap labor they should be cutting their prices, I laughed, said they have an investment company slowly taking over and all they care about is profits.

So many TSM's feeling uneasy. We regularly communicate with the people who will ultimately replace us.
Loyal customers and TSM'S growing more and more frustrated with this transition as everyone's daily duties and responsibilities become increasingly more difficult due to the numerous types of barriers being thrusted upon our daily work lives.

@wkv What a joke my manager tells me we're safe don't worry,lol. I'm customer service I show her a printout of the lay off schedule and she says well I was told that we were safe. Lying though her teeth. Customer Service and Accounts Receivable (A/R) are being fully outsourced to India by Fall. It's all over the internet and business news, Can't wait to see her get the boot.

@vah you keep mentioning AR. AP accounts payable for overhead and merchandise have been outsourced. We had to train our replacements.

@tkr Team shine what a joke. People were butt kissers. I didn't care for any of my coworkers and the mangers were all phonies. The last 6 years of remote were a gift not seeing these people and dealing with them anymore. Was happy to see many of the butt kissers getting the boot last month. Happy to be moving on from this woke company.
@tef When they vacated the Melville East building after renovating it and started this remote work you could tell the end was coming. No more theme parties, financial dinners, Christmas parties. The Team Schein feeling was gone. I was laid off 12/25 and found a job in aspen dental as a biller. Couldn't be happier.
@OP My last day free at last! I was going to Retire in December, getting a year's severance with benefits is a gift. This lay off came at the best time. Place has been going downhill since Covid. Great time to say bye bye.
@swc Had lunch with a manager yesterday after Friday Melville A/R will only have 2 employees left. Said by years end that entire dept will be in India , same with Customer service. KKR will most likely break the company up in the near future.

@svs For anyone interested I received my release letter Saturday. If you're an hourly worker the company pays 100% of your health ins, you don't have anything deducted from your severance. You do get the 401-k contribution in August as that's for year 2025. They pay you your Quarterly bonus and all unused vacation up to 160 hours. I get the full 52 weeks severance since I was there 21 years. That will take me to retirement, no more working for me and get paid till July 2027.

@sr4 I agree, those ridiculous BLM, LBGQ speeches were a joke. Like many of us older folks cared about that nonsense. I left on the 19th and couldn't be happier to be out of that place. Don't need the job as I have a good pension and life long benefits from my previous job. Can't wait to watch the place get broken up and sold off.
@rr6 I'm out on the 26th, and won't miss that woke company. I'm retiring old enough for Social Security, so this couldn't have been better. No more butt kissing, free at last!
@qh3 Well first round to leave is this Friday the 19th, That's my last day, then another group on the 26th and finally on July 3rd. This is the group that was given notice on May 4th
@qcf Heard from a manager in Melville that customer service and A/R will be completely gone by Fall ann to India. Few that made it through June will be gone by fall. They're just there until India takes full control.
The first wave was massive, and it's completed by October. I believe the second wave will hit January, and it will include other departments.

@pck No logic on who gets laid off and who goes first. I'm 65 and would love to save one of my co workers who is only 55 and last day is the 26th. I most likely earn more, have a few less years on the job than her. I asked my manager and she says she doesn't have a say, I call bullcr-p. Is it favoritism?

Subsidiary companies are getting the layoffs, satellite company HS1 had layoffs this week from what I’ve heard.
