Did anyone else notice that if you don’t get vaccinated and report it to the bank that you’re going to not be eligible for the $500 premium credit and you will also lose a $500 HSA credit from the bank? You will also be required to have your spouses vaccinated to maintain the credit. This is so sketchy… I can’t even believe what I’m reading.

i'm not in the vaccine portal because its none of their business what my vaccination status is.... As far as the wellness credit, i will update it to reflect me and my wife's status so that we keep a $1k insurance credit for next year.
What I will not do is RTO 30 days after that because it's now month 6 since my last vaccine and by January or February it will be 8-9 months and the vaccines won't provide any protection by then. I do not feel I should have to keep getting regular booster shots so the Bank can force me back into a crowded office for a job that is fully functional remote.
I also agree with the post about the Bank's portal violating the confidentiality promise they made to us.

I have no problem with the vaccine and think it's the best choice of a worst situation that we have.
That said, I did and do have a problem putting my info in their tool. When I was vaccinated, I was awarded a vaccine card. That is my proof. I do not want to have to go into a special tool to prove what the card already proves. That's nonsense to me.
Further, it is in my mind that tying it to an outside company's wellness tool, and the wellness credit, violates the supposed promised confidentiality of the tool.
Not to mention, that we all know by now that anyone going into the office at this point has not only put their info into the tool, but they are also vaccinated, and thus again it violates confidentiality principle imho.
What say you? While it is literally throwing away money, they they can keep their $500 for all I care.

You should go read the hca awards on Reddit. Hopefully they will capture your comments here when you are awarded. Prayer warriors to the rescue.
I'm questioning this one. The way to see the credit is to use the estimation tool. I initially believed my insurance cost was going up $500. The estimation tool contains not only your cost of insurance, it estimates your out of pocket cost as well. So if you are in the tool and comparing this year to next, you'll have to remove the out of pocket cost before you compare. I looked this morning and my insurance cost is going up 4% (based on my salary as they explained) and the tool is still showing my credit. Now maybe they will do something different in reality (cause I wouldn't put it past them), but the estimation tool doesn't reflect it...at least not for me.
@OP+1d5QAhtr Where did you find this information? I don't see any details yet about the wellness credit, all they have are the available plans for next year for comparison. We have until Feb 28th to complete the wellness credit so I don't think any vaccination status is factored in to premiums yet.
@sjs+1d5QAhtr agree with you 100%
Soon you won’t have a job. The vaccinated don’t want to work alongside the unvaccinated.
Bank on it. If you are anti vax, you better have a plan, because you won’t be able to get employment.
I actually understand this logic. If you're unvaccinated, you have to pay a bit more. I get this; increased risk results in increased cost.
I am not vaccinated and NEVER WILL BE. I am OK with paying $500 more for this risk, even though I do not agree with the "amount of risk" this cost is referring to (I believe my risk is valued much lower than $500 as I'm healthy, etc, but its hard to argue with insurance companies about their pricing).
The logic I do not understand is the insanity all over CNN: Fire those that don't get vaxxed. Yes, great idea. Lets make unvaccinated people HOMELESS, Lets look at them as if they are subhuman. Perfect plan, that's never gone wrong before. That won't result in higher societal costs, definitely not. Sarcasm, FYI.
I looked for the increase this morning. I am vaccinated so under estimate expenses it gave me the $500 wellness credit and $300 into HSA as single user on high deductible. No where does it mention increase for unvaccinated (listened to 16 minute video as well as documents). Is the 2022 wellness gone for unvaccinated?
Overreaching just like the government is doing. Not surprised one bit. The bank is sleeping with the government.
Freedom is long gone.
Sounds amazing. There should be a stupidity tax on all things.
