There is life after BNY Mellon. It may not seem so now because you are in shock but trust me. You will find a better job and you will be a lot happier.
I was in your shoes not so long ago and I was shocked. I found a new job in an amazing company. It made me realise what a complete and utter sh*thole BNYm was.

I was also let go today. Risk and Compliance. Stunned - had no idea whatsoever. I thought manager was joking at 1st. No sup info yet at all; waited all day.
