Intersting Choices

I was one of the people caught uo in the last Layoff, I did make good money, and the environment is a bit toxic as they have thier techs, and everyone else is undervalued and used as payraise / bonus fodder at the end of the year so thier techs can... — read more

Layoffs are done, but expect to see some position changes. Managers, and employees will be moved around. The higher ups came into this without a solid plan and are still putting pieces back in the puzzle.

Take a week or even a month off

If you were affected this week, my advice is to take a week or even a month off before you devote yourself fully to your job search. If you can afford it, of course, but severance should help with that. These last few weeks have been hard for all of... — read more

What is going on here?

I've only been in a short time, less than 5 years. I feel like I've traded one r#ta-d company for another. More things are broken than I imagined for a big corp like this. The fanatics at the HQ meetings (facepaint, wigs, etc.) are f#cking depraved... — read more

I think we're getting close to 5k

I know people like to yell at everybody else that it's not over yet, but I think we're now at the point where the majority of the planned 5k cuts have been done. There'll be a few more smaller rounds, I'm sure of it, but the majority of it should be... — read more

Closures of regional offices?

Any word if Parsippany and Downers will be closed? I heard through the grapevine that they are trying to consolidate and keep maybe Frisco, OP and Bellevue only but not sure if there is any truth to that.
