I just heard there will be layoffs in the future. Does anybody know about this?
New Seating Plan on the way
Expect to see a lot more empty desks and parking spaces by the end of May. I would pay particular attention if you someone has been walking around your floor with unmarked floorplans
Converged Mess
Layoffs coming to engineering team. Mobility. Good luck. Hope they E out. Horrible manager.
T-Mobile for Business Managers
Poll of those like myself in the west who manage business reps and had to enforce the vaccine mandate. Were you able to bypass T-Mobiles policy and get Religious Accommodations honored or did it come down to the state legislation you were in and how... — read more
Best ones are laid off
I'll resign soon. There are many reasons for this, and now there is another reason - I don't want to work with the greatest mediocrities. Their approach to layoffs is awful. As if they were guided by some rule that mediocrities should be kept, and... — read more
T-Mobile Wireline Network
Rumor on the street is T-Mobile is shutting down their wireline network within a year.
This one is for the HR managers and accommodation managers
I am curious to know out of the 20,000 jobs lost since the merger how many were laid off due to the mandate? Also how many were laid off just in TFB due to the mandate? Did T-Mobile grant religious accommodations for anyone? I felt like this was one... — read more

Just send an email saying when you were laid off. That's all.
Uncarrier move 4.0

Those who were laid off are the lucky ones
They are leaving this mess of a company with a nice safety net. They might even get a chance to relax for a while before starting a new job. Honestly, I believe they're the lucky ones. We'll now have to do more work for the same pay and deal with all... — read more
I hope it's over
We're understaffed as it is, if they cut any more people those of us who stay behind will not be able to get the work done. At least not if we still want to have any semblance of a life. I'm tired of people who have no idea what it is that we do... — read more
Technical Support restructuring incoming.
I have been told that a large amount of Technical Support restructuring is coming "Soon". I tried to prod about when soon was but couldn't get an answer. More support jobs are being shifted to the Philippines, word is about 7% more support jobs will... — read more

How prepared are you?
It is interesting that everyone knows that no one is safe here, that they should always be prepared, but still, very few are actually prepared. Honestly, in case they decide to force you out tomorrow, how prepared are you for such a scenario?
How big are these layoffs?
How many have been cut in this round of layoffs, does anyone have any insight?

Feelings after you've been laid off?
What does it feel like to be totally unexpectedly laid off after more than a decade of loyalty, hard work and numerous promises from my manager - the feeling is miserable. The way I was told makes me even more miserable. I'm not going to say I don't... — read more

This place is not worth it
I'm not sure why I'm even worried about being laid off, since this has turned into a horrible workplace with messed-up priorities. If you work hard, you'll get taken advantage of and always be expected to do more. If you spend all your time kissing... — read more
Severance policy
I would accept a voluntary layoff without any hesitation. But since this is not an option, I hope to be a target, as well as there haven't been any changes in severance policy that I don't know about. As far as I know, nothing has changed lately... — read more
What a depressing mess.
Layoffs done in small increments are extremely frustrating. Of course, they will do everything to avoid negative publicity in the media, but are we so irrelevant to them that we do not even deserve a fair approach to layoffs?
Lying to congress...
Majority of layoffs are in Washington State. Neither of senators have moved a finger so far to see what is going here since the minions went to congress and lied about no job loss. Lawlessness in King County.

Minor haircut coming next week to multiple BU teams. No mass layoff but more focus on synergies, redundant positions and pressure on Opex targets to improve P&L. If you feel you've been left out lately you could be on the layoff dinner plate.
Nice to know
