Poland and India to expand and UK & Ireland to have big cuts. BNY can no longer compete in UK/Ireland. Reputation destroyed by the way they treat staff. Big cuts this week and one (minimum) location being cut in each area. Best of luck to all...hope you get a good package (everyone is praying fof a pay out).
I think Brooklyn office will get hit bad. If your department has not been given a move date yet than Good Luck. Layoffs tomorrow and then Dec 2. After that whomever left will either go to Jersey City or...? All departments out of Brooklyn by year end. I heard building management tell several people.
I think tomorrow will be bad. Nobody is safe. Mutual Fund accounting should be affected. I believe MFA is being shipped elsewhere. Where are you located? They are hiring MFA in Poland or Ireland night shifts.
