I had a meeting with my head manager. Layoffs will be happening all week if not all year. It depends on what our CEO’s new hires plans are.
Does anyone know what businesses in Pittsburgh were impacted?

They have walked several people at Brooklyn. HR & Security guards on several floors.
I’m at 240 Greenwich and there are definitely lay offs happening as we speak. There are numerous security guards on the 10th floor and one elevator open and waiting to escort people straight down to the lobby. The perp walk!

Do you think that only BNYM peons post on this site? People that sit in on these meetings share the information because they hate the way Chuck is treating people.
It is a fact that layoffs this week will be in the hundreds.
Multiple layoffs in Pittsburgh that I know of so far this morning.
Obviously people scare mongering for attention. Not heard of any layoffs and nobody who has been laid off has even commented on here.

Announcements by people that are somehow involved in the process have been reporting the week of 8/19 for well over a month.
You are either new to the company, new to this site, new to both, or a complete mo–n!
Some were given advance notice but told they would be laid off on 8/19 “with everyone else”.
Well one clue might be that it’s already underway.
