What do I need to do...? Mid 60s, almost 10 years, BE ( manager was ‘forced’ WTF...how do I get on the ‘list’ .? I’ve had it. What a disorganized white low morale environment. I feel bad for the younger guys. Any advice?...

Your BE is doing it for you. Just have to wait it out a little longer. December probably at most.

Announce your resignation or retirement, then walk right out the door. The company is employing you on a “at will” basis. Since you are not willing you can walk out at any time.
If you want “out and want your cake too”, well that is a different story. You can ask your boss to put you on the list, but no assurance that will happen.
