No, not according to DJT, according to standard economic measurements. If you are not working despite a reasonable job search, you simply are not employable. We are undisputedly at full employment in the USA, . You confuse a true leader with an ideology which you hate with an incompetent leader with an ideology you love. Your mind has become twisted and tied up like a pretzels. You are projecting... there is help for this.

Oh yeah, the job market is 'good' according to DJT. Never mind that millions have left the workforce and given up.

My BNY friends! Feeling lost, ‘why me’ etc only lasts a few weeks. Make a plan, keep busy, learn new skills, update resume and start looking for new opportunities. Thanks god job market is still good. I’m sure everyone who let go and stays with positive attitude will be able to find a job. I did after a few months. And with less stress, because more stress is not humanely possible.

Call me crazy but very open and willing to experience the shift in mentality and thinking.

I’m ready. Heading to work now and feel like I’m going to a funeral. After decades here of hard work and never BE they decided its me that had to go so now have 2nd BE. I believe they want me to quit so being nasty to me with sarcastic remarks and looks daily. Weill I’m not quitting. I should though as the stress of all this is really making me sick. I remember when I was happy to go to work.

Yes that is supposedly the next wave. All departments in BK office will be out by year end. New building mgmt taking over Jan 1. Lots of people have not be given move dates so layoffs make sense.

For those who pray that you are on the upcoming layoff list, you better count your blessings now. Your mentality and thinking will shift once they inform you that your role has been eliminated. I felt a sense of accomplishment when I got my paycheck from the work that I knowledgeable performed day in and day out. Now, even though they gave me a lengthy weeks for SUB from the separation, I feel lost, depressed and a sense of worthless even though I know it is not due from my performance consequences.

Who knows. Our department has had lots of layoffs, but the last time they laid off in December was when a bunch were let go in Dec 2014. Some were let go at end of Nov 2015, 2017, 2018... so be prepared for that. Also some in Jan 2016 and a bunch in Jan 2019, so be prepared for that too.

I am so hoping to be laid off with a package. December would be perfect. Maybe there really is a Santa Claus!

Word of advise to all. Stop asking when the next wave will come and making yourself sick. I worked at the wonderful world of Pershing and was let go after 25 years. It's not set in stone when downsizing happens they can do it in bulk or they can do it whenever the spirit moves them. It was the best thing that happened to me and many other BNYM Employees. It is not the end of the word if you are let go from BNYM or Pershing. It is their loss not yours remember that and remember it is personal and not your job performance. It is coming from a mob mentality. When they say your job is eliminated it really isn't they just want you gone, so it is personal. You will see your job posted within a month of your termination. To all Melinnials, no I am not bitter I am HAPPY and now somewhere I am respected and appreciated. 😁😁😁😁😁😁
