Looking Forward to 2020 :-(

Next round of layoffs is early December. Have the 2020 termination dates been released yet?

10I9kzpO-your assessment is on the money. Not even worth waiting for their stupid packages as they'll probably cut that out once their not afraid of the age discrimination suits. Not giving notice either. I'll give them the same respect as they gave me.

Consolidate, eliminate, automate and send jobs overseas is the new look for bnym in 2020. For the ones in the US, its work long hours and get no recognition. The only thing you will get however, is a boot up your a– when it's all said and done. Do you cause they are doing them. Facts my peoples!!!!!!!

Worst company I’ve ever been a part of, in 37 years of working. I’m looking, as is just about everyone in my department. So sad.

Isn't it fun to come into work everyday wondering if it's your last? Or to look forward to possible dates for the next round of layoffs. Really makes you want to be productive with all the appreciation they show.

Hope for the best, plan for the worst. Being a BNYM employee, I plan for the worst. The best would be if Charlie and Bridget were shown the door.

Do you think they have any idea how employees feel about them? They probably don’t care. As long as they get their dirty money, they’re happy.

There is a reason January is such a big lay off month. They won’t have to pay you back for unused vacation days, purchased vacation days etc. since you haven’t accumulated much time for the new year. So, look out, January is right around the corner.

So far for the past twelve months, I know people that our department laid off in Aug, Oct, Nov, Jan, Feb, May, Aug. Maybe others laid off that I don’t know or were in other departments. So, I assume they could lay off any time they want.

We all have targets on our backs.

We will be waiting for BE and/or layoff. Morale way down and people lashing out. Every day, thinking of those and not able to focus on work, so a self-fulfilling prophecy. Productivity way down.

Exist like that, or look for a new job.

So I am looking for a new job while I waiting for them to lay me off, or make my life even worse by keeping me.

Hoping 2020 is a new start to the next best chapter of my life... without BNY.

I couldn’t care less. I’m looking for a new job now. Several in my area are looking as well. I do not want to work for a company that treats an employee like garbage. I will not wait for a quota force BE or for my position to be eliminated. I suggest you do the same. They will come for you eventually.
