And then the lemmings comment about how awesome this is Jan & the great job the “Pittsburgh engagement team “does
And in groups all around the company, stupid little team building outings are occurring. you want to make people feel like they are part of a “team “, give them some job security, be fair, and be honest, and save the rest of this BS .....
How can CEO be a mini trump when the two are polar opposites?
The point is true - have seen an impromptu “get together group” in my office and was asked what recommendations I had to make the work environment better. My response:
“I think it’s great what you’re trying to do but they’re is no point until they stop laying people off left and right. Also pay has to go up not down. “

Please don't mistake me for someone bitter. I've done quite well for myself through the years with hard work and dedication.
Maybe when you see people you've known for 20 to 30 years escorted out by security, perhaps you will understand why the "engagement" job is viewed in a poor light by many.
Keep up the good job with your brown nosing, and remember to invest and save wisely. Your time will come at some point.
@yourlooks - that’s a pretty broad brush stroke you just took there on the engagement team. No wonder why BNYM is a “joke” to work for - they hire people like you! Also, have you ever told them what you want out of an engagement team? Actually, please do tell what you want them to accomplish?? Obviously they can’t offer you job security. I think they do a nice job all things considered. What is wrong with scheduling an Xmas party? Or organizing a food truck day? Don’t poke at the small folks on the totem pole.
Window dressing ERGs that are run by people given false hope that it would be good for development. Charlie not give a dam about people, whether they be employees or not. He is motivated by personal greed. A mini Trump. F– him. Do as little work as you can get away with in there. And take what you can from them.....just like charlie and the board.
This company is the biggest joke on Wall Street. Any time I went for an interview, the hiring manager would laugh when he/she saw BNY Mellon on my resume. Very sad.

The two women that put together these events were hired because they are young and attractive. They have no clue what real employees want from the company because they have never been real employees.
