BNY just enrolled me in a certification series for new hires although I’ve already worked here for many years. I hope they don’t roll back my salary...

"I’m a New Hire!".... Keep an open mind, learn what you can, set yourself up for your next big move, perhaps it will be within BNYM, maybe the company gets sold, maybe you find you your dream job elsewhere? It's a long road.
The best advice I have is this.... Control what you can, and never ever let external factors control you.
Good luck on your journey!
Maybe someone filling in for someone else that got displaced?
Ps. I actually like my job. I get paid well to do very interesting work.
I don’t like the company culture that depresses morale, creates anxiety, and reduces productivity. I could be let go any time, or reassigned to do something I didn’t apply for. Unhappy people all around, managers that cannot do anything about it.
I’ll leave when I find a better job, or get laid off. There could be a lot of people that feel this way, here and at other companies that are doing the same things.
Good luck to all!
Get out of there asap...a Sh– H O L E
sent in error....BNYM a tech company...laughable
It was an error
an e-mail just came out that it was a mistake....
I recently resigned from BNY Mellon and only have a few days to go before I leave and yet I got this and another new starter training as well. Did they re-hire me against my will?
The Accounting one? If so that is the same one I got and I am a contractor
Me too!
