BNYM: An Accident Waiting To Happen

This bank is an accident waiting to happen. So much knowledge has been lost with the mass layoffs. It’s only a matter of time before BNYM is again in the news for another screwup. It’s too late to try to document procedures when the experts have been laid off or left on their own. Good luck to the poor employees that are still there.

Hmm The Quartz just published an interesting study. It said that India is producing future employees with the wrong skill set (25% of new graduates have trouble landing their first job) as they are not taught the foothills and the technical skills are 63% likely to be replaced by AI.

So why are we causing such chaos in the U.S. Job market. BNY can just team up with Google to help the US workers certify in the new tech skills, you can't teach softskills.

The outsourcing module that BNY is chasing is late and won't work.

There are still reorganization going on... Any news on the dec layoffs? How many? Which groups or locations? Will BE go away? Heard they are trying the same with work from home...ironically that's what young employees want; not a copy of jpm org. Where's the fresh ideas? We're just following other companies and it doesn't mean it works well...

1dkn, audit staff have families to support as well. No “field day” for a formerly sleepy function...

Audit, welcome to the club! Jump in! the water has been just fine for 13 years...Join the struggle to balance personal ethics and employer demands. Choose right and enjoy the mirror. Choose wrong and there’s no monetary limit to your career.

Houston, we have a problem... Ka-boom.
The staff being cut are the lucky one’s. Take the Severance. Enjoy your time off. Get another job where you’re appreciated and where you can grow.

BNYMs performance under Charlie and Bridget is below expectations. This ship has sailed and it’s been slowly sinking for the last couple of years. Just a matter of time now until they hit permanent bottom.

CAN IT BE ANY MORE OBVIOUS?!?!?

Audit should have a field day finding grievous errors in the necessary reporting and regulatory requirements that are necessary. So many knowledge people were let go. What a mess this organization has become.

I’m quite nervous supporting my application. 20% of my staff has been cut and I’m dependent on overseas staff that are relatively new and don’t have the knowledge to handle production issues.
