The joy of working for BNY Mellon

Feels a lot like the joy of driving a high mileage Saturn Ion. You just keep driving down the road listening to all these bizarre sounds coming from under the hood. Not much you can do about it but keep on driving, and wait for the end to come when that engine finally blows!

Wonder if fixable, if upper management was the problem, a lot of them are leaving so maybe that will help.

Have a drink and you may think the car is driving well! LOL!

Good analogy! And true. And just when you think the engine is about to blow it seems to get a little more life in it. But you know the end is still coming soon enough so you keep driving down the miserable road. You think of getting a new car, traveling on a new road–and while it is worth exploring–it is not a given you will find a replacement in time. And then you hear the company is looking to cut your warranty in half. Maybe it is time to pull over and get a drink!
