He comes off as a bit of a milksop when he speaks. He’s the kind of guy who belongs in a corner with a spreadsheet— and he’s undoubtedly good at counting beans and being on time. He’s just not CEO material — no charisma at all (and not to be mean, but he would benefit from some cosmetic dental work).

He is just following orders from above . This is not new most Leaders in BNY Mellon function that way . Probably , Todd needs some more time to envision his goals for the Company . He is stuck as BNY Mellon was handed over to him when it's sinking .
