Investment bank future not look good for 3 years before any coming slowdown let alone unlikely recession. Bad even worse for Custody banks. Don’t mix up two only BONY think BONY investment bank really simple custody bank
My manager has not talked to me in almost a year. It’s hard not to take THAT personally.
Recession will be hitting soon, they are preparing for it. Don’t feel bad about lay-off, at least you get paid for a period of time, what if they keep you till the end and bank goes bankrupt... investment bank future is not looking good. You better prepare now and get job before it’s too late and bank is not in a position to pay so called Sub pay!!!
What about a crack digital crew under 50 spending a year talking Fax strategy?
I'm over 50 and I run around with the word 'digital'. It has nothing to do with technology but does relate to the type of exam I need each year.
Yeah if your not not under 30 running around saying the word “digital” to everyone you see, then your position is prob vulnerable
I already planned ahead and left, after seeing what went down last year it is foolish not to take action. If you have a lot of down time in your position then yeah you should know better. Don't waste time kissing up to your bosses, they get canned as easily too
I'm super ready. At this point I will be disappointed if they keep me. They will just pile more work on me and then lay me off in a quarter or two anyways
