BNYM is just one of a street full of sh–ty employers who are so far up their own arses that they don't realise they've become nothing more than high cost financial utility companies.
Fintech and digitisation are merely the last gasps, dying breaths, of a company strenuously avoiding the truth of its own future.
The only future for these organizations is the same as water, power, gas, postal, etc utility companies - just do that one thing you're good at, keep costs down, pay out regular dividends, and stay in your box.
Once that's realised, staff will be cut 50% or more across the street, innovating will cease, and the innovation gurus will head off to sell their snake oil, sorry, blockchain ideas, elsewhere.

Lets start with Brian Shea as CEO and Suresh Kumar as CIO!
