Heard there were more layoffs coming in January. No surprise here. Can’t take it anymore here. I’m 60 and with the company 30 years. Despite getting good reviews and working my butt off, my manager told me to “be prepared for the worst”. How can anyone work here?

Don't be afraid. If its your time, walk out with with dignity. God just opened the door for you.

With three kids in college, easier said then done.
Sounds like you can retire bub. Take the severance and then file for retirement.
