Means nothing. I received exceeds 5 of the last 6 years and was laid off with an AE.
BE means nothing. None of the employees care about or respect the process. Snr management openly say its a forced ranking. The share price is falling of a cliff.... they need to focus on that as opposed to trying to force people out by lies!
It means NOTHING. I was laid off. I’ve NEVER been BE, in fact I had 2 exceeds and the rest meets.
My attendance record was flawless. Had a cute little name plaque with “perfect attendance “ on it.
Reason: position eliminated
Nobody is safe.
BE means BE here at BONY until ME -> (manager) is challenged :)
BE doesn't mean anything. It doesn't matter how good of an employee you are.
Yes it does. One meaning:
YOU'RE NEXT
If you receive, start planning for the future immediately.
BE has no meaning, as long as you are good with managers, treat BE as Exceptional or Meet Expectation. Just keep kissing the b-tt! you will be fine, even 10 BE are still working at BNY... You only need 1 skill, make your manger happy! as they are unskilled and they go by how you treat them :)
Impact: it upsets the manager and the target. I had nightmares and quit before I had to target another employee with a BE. I could no longer work for a company with such a bad policy. I also worried of the affect the BE had on people that did not deserve it. I would rather lay off a person with good wishes and dignity than insult them with a BE. So don’t kid yourself. The BE has plenty of serious impact on the people involved.
