I know of 2 in NY 240 asset servicing tech this week so far.
I heard of layoffs in Depo part of business, UK and Ireland.
Also, senior sales guy in AIS.
Its small numbers, 1 - 2 in different locations, not the carnage many were predicting on here.
That’s true, it means if I want someone to go all is needed to give them BE evaluation , which is pretty easy in today’s environment, it goes to HR and this person is on the list...
HR was given that list from uppers based on PMP performance . Your direct mgrs aren’t the only ones who can access it. I get those details from HR all the time when I’m looking to hire someone

Most of you are acting like it’s your direct mgrs that have something to deal with this lay-off sh–. Think again. I , as a mgr , got handed down the list of people by HR and we are stuck doing upper mgrs dirty work by having to tell people “hey guess what your position is being eliminated”. And not for nothing if half you were performing where you should be, you would be on their radar. GRow up
There is no invite to any meeting. You come in as usual and then you get a tap on the shoulder from your manager. Good Luck
Some managers will make an "all hands on deck" meeting in the morning as an excuse to get everyone into the office. Then in the afternoon they'll call folks one at a time to the chopping block.
