Be happy those who were let go or got BE, you deserve better. Accept the change with pride, held your head high while walking through that door. You are the lucky ones, imagine days ahead for those who remained there, loaded with overtime work, bad attitude, toxic environment you name it. World outside is much better, wake up !

I was blessed to be let go months ago. Worst environment and mgmt in my 30 years of employment.
You all do realize they are still hiring for open reqs right so other may pick up extra for now but it won’t be for long
Correct. Never got a BE, only awards and praises. My manager didnt like this, so he forced me out by bullying, withholding work, downgrading my job. I was seriously stressed about this treatment, and filed a grievance at HR. I was laid off for standing up to the horrible toxic workplace. Fortunately they paid a lot to shut me up. So, I'm now living a carefree life, my mental health recovered, and I never have to speak with that arsehole again!
Good luck to those still stuck in that trap of hating to go in, but having to pay bills.
Very sad! For the people in Ops for 10, 15, 20 years could have problems finding new jobs. Majority of these positions are being moved overseas. It’s tough out there.
That's right. Got the first and only BE in my entire career. Manager confessed I was force ranked after challenging it. I have the last laugh though. I was laid off in December and never looked back. My mental state has improved vastly.
For my former coworkers, they are now going to deal with working up to 18 hour days, six or seven days a week, married to their laptops, and being stuck due to high mortgage, rent, student loans, and their above means lifestyle. I genuinely feel for them, as I was once there in the past. The younger ones can deal with it now, yet it is going to get old quickly. I wish them all the best.
