You already know there is a lot of sympathy out there in general for Amazon and I think they would be the first ones bailed out specially before all the small mom and pop grocers like Red Apple and superior operations that cater to simple folk like WINCO. I think the President would favor the more high end boutique-ish ya ya sisterhood operations like ours.
Mass layoffs are happening right now as local, small businesses deal with mandated closures, suggested closures and trying to do their part to limit the spread of the virus. Many may never come back. The employees of our independent businesses are too big to fail.
The experts: "practice social distancing"

Our region is doing record sales. I've never seen anything like this in my 10 years.
We should shut down the salad bar, hot bar, pizza, etc
We are limiting quantities of toilet paper and water now. Good luck cashiers!
My store so cheap. They have an open cookie bar where kids touch cookies and put them back all the time. Why not put a closed lid cookie bar? It costs too much. Customers complain but nothing happens. Health department should shut down all stores with open bar cookie tables. It is disgusting.

Self-serv pizza is gross. People paw the slices all the time. Almost as gross as the mochi freezers that people cough in.
Stopping any self serve venues. Not out of public concern, but to avoid the negative press of being a focal point for an outbreak.
