Pfds bars shut down, any self serve venue shut down.
employees laid off? That’s fake news!! All employees at my store are getting more hours and some even are making crazy OT. Our store leadership does not care about OT at this point which is great for us who are busting our butts. As long as we all work together we’ll get out of this.

There will be no layoffs if the bars shut down, TMs can still make fresh food and prepack. If there's not enough work in the kitchen, we still really need folks to stock grocery shelves and run registers.

A random one-liner by an anon poster. OK. Fair enough.

Does it warrant a comment as a mediocre discussion prompt?

OK...

Not a fact, a discussion prompt yes.

We SHOULD shut down the hot/salad bar during this crisis. Prepacked foods only from prepared foods and bakery. I can't believe our company is moving so slow to make this decision.

Seriously doubt it. If salad bar/hot bar shut down, those people most likely would help grocery or the customer service team in the front.

The stores are making labor by crazy dollar amounts. Don’t start unfounded rumors.

Nothing from our regional yesterday. So, fear? But, also seems to be the next logical step.

Any reason to believe this or is someone expressing their fear here?
