If your manager threatened that if yo don’t sign your BE

Our manager threatened that if we didn’t sign the performance rating, that we won’t get our bonuses. I forwarded that email to HR and they told counsel and had to escalate to his manager because obviously he was trying to use intimidation and coerce is to do something that we didn’t want to do. I wish I told her that we wanted an apology email.

Also, I mentioned that manager said that she was told to give me BE. HR said that should not be the case because it’s manager discretion. Boy is HR unaware of what is taking place.

If you were threatened in any case and forced to rate BE (it’s confidential and if they retaliate, you have a good case), go to mysource > hr & personal > MyHR > create a request > employee relations > employee grievance.

Attach any emails you have.

It's not worth any kind of struggle. You can find another job. Seriously, forget that place and move on. You'll live a longer and happier life as a result.

If your manager threatened you then that is gross misconduct. If you have it in writing then even better. Raise this as a serious issue with HR and demand to speak to senior HR person. Get it all formally processed.
