It sure would be nice to see some responsible adults take over BNY Mellon and to right the ship. Someone like a JP Morgan or Chase. Problem is that those companies are smart, and wouldn’t touch BNY Mellon with a 10 foot pole. BNY Mellon and Wells Fargo are the coronavirus of the financial world. When the next financial crisis hits, the government should just let these banks fail. Let them go the way of Lehman Brothers and AIG, and Bear Sterns. I don’t see how a BNY Mellon client stays with this bank. Bny Mellon has got some of the most disgruntled and unhappy employees that you’ll ever find in the workforce, yet this is the largest custodian bank in the world. How do you sleep at night knowing that your assets are being tracked using an excel spreadsheet and a desktop pc, and the same disgruntled employee from 2001?

- another jenius weighs in.
JPMC ... oh yeah, another organization of integrity ... I think I'm going to stuff my money in my mattress.

Certain individuals are ready for the severance, I mean, SUB pay. Get paid while you look without having to deal the the daily BS.
Wells Fargo and BNY should merge so Charlie can be supreme leader once again
I was laid off for the second time. They did me a favor. You must kiss azz and suk up to the boss. It is also hyper political there now too. Also, you must be willing to learn Python and also work virtually 24-7. A former co worker is now living at the job for all intents and purposes plus has a kid that will rarely be seen by such resulting in possibly the kid having issues in teen and adult
Very true. Its the toilet of financial services
if there's a financial crisis JPM would be hit harder than a custodian bank. and yes, these client inquiry back office groups are rude and disgruntled as hell...they only know how to act professionally everytime there's a batch of layoffs.
JPM and Chase are the same company, jenius.
If there is a merger or acquisition, even more people lose their jobs. Not something to wish for
