Hearing the India offices are to be closed based on country wide lockdown just announced?

Yeah, that outsourcing thing really worked out well .......
I'm a former employee. I know my job was displaced by India. I am so glad to see the bank is now getting its comeuppance.
What does it matter? Nobody is going to any offices. Everyone is working from home. Every company in NY especially is working from home. Companies will just get bailouts.
The clock is starting. This jurisdiction is no longer a cost reduction place but a costly place for as long as this pandemic lasts. Every day the office is closed it is a cost to company bcz WFH ability is close to fantasy here. So the longer this lasts the cost increases at an exponential rate.
Do the needful.
Oh yeah, that outsourcing thing really worked as far as reducing 'risk' ... typhoons, lack of accountability and now this.
