We had a few call outs but only from the Tm's who call out regularly and have already been consistently calling out every few days since point forgiveness went into effect. On my team everyone who's has called out is above 4 points or is on final. We do however have a TM on final for points who has made it to every shift. Too bad it's better when they aren't there :(

WFM has been communicating and putting things in place everyday. We have our playbook that is updated regularly. From the top to the store levels, this is new to all of us. Appreciate you have an "essential" job to go to. Complain, complain, waaah... Shut up, wash your hands, disinfect your area, practice social distancing etc. Etc. You're not alone in this. Again, be grateful you are employed, and it's considered essential.

We have the same amount of call outs today as every day. People who should have pointed out are taking advantage of the no points situation. They aren't even calling out for illness. Meanwhile their points are falling off. We will never get rid of these under performing TM's who are constantly at 5 or 5.5 points. Now we have Tm's just dictating to us what hours they will work and there isn't anything we can do about it.

Nothing happened at my store. People can’t afford to call off is what I was told.

I seriously doubt we’ll see a rush of unemployed workers looking to take our jobs anytime soon. The stimulus bill is set to provide an additional weekly $600 on top of state unemployment benefits, which for most will amount to $20+/hr.

Sorry, I meant *not enforcing these things, not “informing”

I’m in leadership at my store and we’ve only seen 2 call outs so far today. I was honestly hoping more people would.
Whole Foods used to be an industry leader in innovation, benefits, and team member happiness. Now we tow the line and are barely keeping up as far as how our people are treated. All my STL cares about right now are sales and the customers. Our store is not protecting TMs nearly enough. It’s a start to post signs about social distancing and place barriers around the store, but if you’re not informing these things with offending customers and nonchalant TMs, then we might as well be doing nothing.
Also, $2/hr is an insult and a joke.

Looks like the twats and low qualifying shelf stocking people will have global positions to apply for soon.

You guys stock shelves and run registers what am I missing? Sure there are plenty of Macy and Khol’s people willing to fill those jobs. Just be thankful low skilled jobs are available for now.

SW and NW are going to struggle, but it’s only a day right. not sure about the rest of the regions. But seen a lot of circulation about a strike on the news.
