Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Do you think there will be another great depression comming as a result of the coronavirus?

Do you think our economy is headed towards another great depression and do you think your job is at risk because of it?

No recession. We'll be up and running in no time. Why because for those who are working they are not spending any money. That avalanche of money will be incredible. Just a matter of time. The 8 gov who want the states open - those 8 states feed a lot of America so gotta keep them open so you can get your milk.

Great depression? No but I do think it has affected the economy so deeply that it could be some time before it recovers fully.

I also agree with what was said about Colleges.

@xum+14j8DN2N ... you say totally unnecessary? You must be a fan of one of those 8 republican governors who still refuse to even follow the trump suggestion to issue a state shutdown. What is your problem? Your IQ or your selfishness?

No, but the college meltdown has been building for 25 years and actually is a real concern. Colleges drifted to 4 years of “The Overall Academic Experience” with a correspondingly growing price tag, ever more fluff majors and ever lesser hard majors. Where were these kids’ parents for advice and level setting?

Yes, if they don't quit freezing the economy with all this Corona panic, its going to avalanche into a depression. The bizarre thing is that its totally unnecessary.
