Keyloop is introducing a new process - Customer Voices. The voice of our customers are currently saying “Keyloop is like a supertanker: Slow, Expensive and inflexible”. I’m wondering whether the new process will change that picture that of us? Probably not, it will only strengthening that view, that customers already have of us.
The voice product won't be missed by Keyloop. Cost the business millions in lost revenue, deployment and support costs over the last five years, primarily due to the clown/s who recently took over running the product. Built themselves an empire at the detriment of the hard working few. Can't see GreenIP (Evolve) being around for very long, along with the people being forced out the door.
Well there goes telephony, bundled off to green ip or something like that pity those who have been told like it or lump it your going, especially with some of the people involved, mind you they might be better off than the rest of us left with dross loop
You're absolutely correct, and do you know why? It's because the so-called experts in the Cloud Centre of Excellence, or whatever they call it, clearly lack the necessary expertise.
Cost analysis should have been the very first priority in their evaluation process!
Sounds like Keyloop will soon need a new CTO and Infrastructure Director. Cost of moving to and running in AWS will explode and be 10 times higher than first expected (don’t think they have never made a real investigation). Maybe the two guys will keep their jobs, and then all others have to pay for their stupidity - that’s how its normally is.
What is the start up company for the voice product? UK and International?
All the jobs headed to India.
Goodbye to all the generalists that exists in product. Hallo to a lot of new specialists that will have to cover for generalists. I expect that amount of PM/PO will double to be able to handle the demand that PM’s handle today.
What departments are being sold off?
It wasn't that long ago this was posted:
We have no intention or desire to sell or offload individual divisions of the business. A potential sale may occur in the next 2 to 3 years, but it will involve the company as a whole. Restructuring is essential to ensure we are well-positioned for the future and to continue providing an excellent experience for our customers. Recent redundancies were part of a strategic shift and are not as extensive or widespread as some might suggest.
Who wrote that BS?
On the previous posters note, it could take a while then.
Didn't Keypoop try to make multiple acquisitions a while ago and failed miserably?, due to business owners knowing what a shambolic organisation Keypoop are and not wanting to shaft their workforce into oblivion.
The latest victims and ATG's CEO are probably regretting signing the deal.
All in progress it’s takes time to get the right suitors. Could be a weeks or months but it will happen as it’s margin dilution. It’s all about the money and nothing to do with the great people or customers. 💩
Any timescales for these changes?
Work less, play more. #### your job. Do only what you are paid to do. You are not a slave, you are not the office bi--h. Dont stay at work one minute more than you have to.
When the work is finished switch off your laptop, switch off your phone, switch off your brain, tell your manager to take the emails and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.
You are worth more than how this company is treating you. Exercise your right to protect your wellbeing, take some time off, use the time to dust off the old C.V. you are going to need it at the start of the new year. That merit increase which was postponed until January, is not coming! For others neither is the payoff.
To all my old work colleagues stay strong, don't let them take the pi££ and you will come through this stronger. Remember better times are ahead.
I've been gone for a couple of years and life is 100 % better being out of there.
I stated this some six weeks ago with some people saying it is not true….. as I said 100% fact and still is!!! Mark my words as I know!
“” So the the strategy is to continue the streamlining ready for sale. Sell off telephony, networks, HW engineering and outsource hosting to the cloud with minimum support in house. Move support to off shore fully and close as many in country offices as possible. Outsource all implementation to partners.””
Voice is first, more to come. And we are talking some of the core business.
Confirmed voice products and staff are being sold to a start up company. A cheaper way to get rid of a bulk of staff then paying them compensation.
Rather trust the k-k than the klt once great company ruined and all they want to do is shove everything in the cloud and employ people in india
I do not know not very much. Only a complete muppet would remain ignorant to what is happening. I know nothing of any "huge" changes, please elaborate
DonkeyBuzzocks what do you know about the huge changes in the new year and the planned layoffs?
Some UK based staff will probably not see through another financial quarter. Sit tight, silently quit and do as little as you possibly can. Wait for the meeting with HR to hit your inbox and take the money. Enjoy Christmas, it will be the last for many as Key loop employees.
Not UK centric?
90% of all leaders (excluding regular managers) are still UK based. Benefits in UK is much better than rest of the world. English is spoken quickly without taking into concern people who are not fluent. All other than UK employees will in 2025 need to take a mandatory intelligence test. All not customer facing personal is starting to be migrated to India next year (excluding UK based employees). A lot of customer facing functions will move to hubs in Spain and Czech (again excluding UK based employees). So what was it again about not being UK centric?
And people being unhappy does not reflect the reality? Last peakon score was really bad.
Wonder if the previous person NoBS is reporting directly to the happy clapper champion CdM?
Keyloop remains intact, with a team still dedicated to their work. In my 20+ years here, I've seen the workforce evolve to become more diverse than ever. It's no longer UK-centric; we now have colleagues from across the globe, including Canada, Poland, India, and South America.
I understand that many who post here are either dissatisfied current employees or former employees who seem unable to move on, but this doesn't reflect the overall reality of the workplace.
Hello, ex employee here having a nose around. After the cull of staff four years ago (was it that long ago?) How much of the business still remains now?
I have tried to contact a few people recently who remained in employment but don't seem to get any answer from calls or emails.
There's been a few posts removed over the years, I didn't think they were particularly abusive or anything like that, so yes is the answer.
Am I just paranoid or did one of the last comments disappeared?
Hard to know what to think of the CEO. He's not a techy. He doesn't come across as particularly smart. He doesn't seem particularly good at recruiting the right people. And yet his leadership style is very autocratic and he doesn't like criticism - maybe that's because he knows he's out of his depth.
I'm sure he's a decent enough chap (if a little dim), but CEO material? Nah.
What do you think of Tom? I wouldn't even have given him the responsibility of my condominium!
To this add that he has surrounded himself with completely incompetent people.
I ran away from Keyloop three years ago after many years of hard and honest work. I don't regret the choice I made. Any Customers told me that they are desperate, sad and resigned. It is a shame that they have destroyed a solid company that relied on the important contribution of individual employees.
Got rid of people that built it, installed it and supported it - what could possibly go wrong??
Another failure of the professional services executive. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work out if you get rid of everyone that understands how to install the products maybe don’t be surprised if installs fail and customers complain and leave.
What changes were these?
TON?
The round one?
At this point I have a doubt....but will these KLT people be paid based on lost customers?????
It was a no brainer
Huge decision to change DMS in group as large as Marshalls, one that will not have been taken lightly given the disruption and cost involved. Demonstrates the lack of confidence for the future in the current DMS - a wise decision!
Genuine customer here asking if anybody would recommend a decent DMS platform/ telephone system which would help to run a dealership. Looking for high levels of customer service and knowledgeable, talented UK staff.
I hear there's some place near Hungerford with a market leading reputation.
Any pointers anyone?
There isn’t “certainty” but it’s highly likely to be 2025 because investments normally last 5 years for the business to be sold again
Where do you take the certainty that Keyloop will be sold next year? I've heard it so many times already and nothing.
It’s that day of the year. The 2 month notice period and we are all good for a great start to the new year.
Expect friends and family not to be in the office tomorrow.
A year which will be the last with FP as owners.
