Mmmmmm PigGate - didn't Tom's mate David Cameron have some fun with a beautified pig? In Keyloop's natural style, they are probably looking to shaft it, like Keyloop's many employees, oooops associates

So not being able to beautify the pig to sell it, are they making it lose weight?

@9x24 Tom is very honest person, you should believe everything he tells you.
Don't you believe Tom is the most trusted person in the company, same as KLT, they are all very trustworthy and always say the truth.

I do keep telling you all that the buyers pull out even before they start due diligence due to the number of red flags and terrible customer sentiment. FP have got a problem that the baby is very ugly and they can’t get rid. Some of the purchases were good businesses but they get smashed to bits within months and knowledge and experience either walk or get pushed. The fat controller has a broken railway of his making. KLT is the train crash.

"No sale at the moment".............in reality every purchase attempt has fallen through. Nobody wants this basket case.

Francisco need to acquire a few more companies to be able to strip them out and re-distribute the capital. Keyloop need to look profitable and this is the only way that will happen.

Keep clapping, keep cheering. Keep working for nothing.

No one should ever hear the words “everyone is replaceable” in an exit interview
Ex employees are your reference and NPS score.
Utterly shameful

I once had a simliar conversation - several years later that person sat in front of me in an interview. It didnt go well. Professionally challanging and a rejection.

Never forget the fact that emplyers will ask "you used to work with x what did you think"
So to the person who led that meeting - so are you!

To the person who was interviewed I am sure you were valued by those that matter :-)

  1. Incredibly poor management. Leadership cliques combined with severe incompetence are a dangerous set of ingredients. HR woeful.

  2. When I joined Keyloop, I invested my time, energy, and commitment into building my career. Throughout my time with the company, I consistently exceeded my performance review expectations, yet I never saw that reflected in meaningful pay progression. The final disappointment came when the annual salary increase was removed. That was the moment I realised it was time to look elsewhere.

Leaving was not an easy decision. I had built my career here, and stepping away was genuinely scary. However, looking back, I know it was the right choice.

What saddened me most was seeing the company lose its people-first culture. There seemed to be little accountability or ownership, while backstabbing and politics became far too common. It no longer felt like an environment where people were supported or recognised for their contributions.

During my exit interview, I was told that “everyone is replaceable” and that the company would be fine. While that may be true from a business perspective, hearing those words after years of dedication was disappointing and reinforced that I had made the right decision.

I leave grateful for the experience and the people I had the privilege of working with, but I also hope the company reflects on the culture it is creating. People are ultimately what make an organisation successful, and when they no longer feel valued, the business inevitably loses something far more important than just another employee.

  1. Heavily political office, high turnover, backstabbing, throwing under the bus, blame shifting is the norm
    Advice to Management
Anyone who has another option shouldn't consider working at such a toxic workplace

    • Ridiculous unattainable sales goals meaning no bonuses or raises
  • Feels like they're pushing people out to be replaced by AI, or far cheaper less skilled labor to just use AI instead of knowing anything themselves
  • No one in a leadership position truly feels like a leader that's willing to push back when poor decisions are being made above them
  1. Customers despise them, sales role is more like a glorified babysitter than a sales executive, company constantly changes which Account Manager looks after which client which irks clients, much of senior leadership is dismissive and middle management is disorganised

Sad to hear that nearly all of the (decent) engineers have now gone. Only Admin people/ the driver remain? Is the repair centre/ CORE gone as well? Dave must have been the oldest serving employee.

I love how all the Keyloop happy clappers, on LinkedIn celebrate the mediocrity. One award won one out of a billion different industry awards, is that the success criteria for one of the biggest and most innovative frontiers of the automotive and software industry? Maybe that’s how P&E leadership and ELT get their bonuses, by having goals that are easy achievable. To me it’s obevious, that the Product Leadership whom all were brought in after the turning into Keyloop have failed totally.
Or maybe the goal is just to be mediocre?

@9we2 the two guys in the warehouse are left to clear the warehouse to be gone by the end of october

I am working at Keyloop, not based in UK but I am in a senior position so I know quite a lot about what is happening internally.

Let me tell you what I know.

In UK the data centres are already in shutdown mode and most probably they will be gone by end of first quarter 2027. Customers are being migrated to cloud and whatever is still left will be moved into some racks at third party data centre.

The Bristol hardware department is also in shutdown mode. Most of the workers have already been layed off, only few people are remaining to clear the warehouse, wind down everything and help with the final removal of the data centre.

Departments like Customer Enablement, Infrastructure etc are offshoring many support roles to India. But this is now being debated because there are lot of complaints and performance is not good as expected. Vietnam is quickly becoming the preferred option now.

Only a small number of experts and management people will remain in local countries like Canada, Europe and UK. Main reason is to reduce cost as much as possible, even if workers and customer satisfaction is affected. Bosses are expecting same level of competency after all these changes but honestly it is not working like that. Customers are very unhappy and it is not surprising.

There are also many unhappy managers and senior managers because of these changes, but most of them are keeping quiet due to fear of losing their jobs. Many are waiting for the company to be sold, hoping things may improve after that, but lot of damage has already happened and is still happening in the name of cost saving.

There are talks with buyers going on right now, but I dont have full details about this. I have heard it may happen “soon”, but personally I dont think anything will happen before the new year.

@9vzr There's virtually nothing to do here, so we might as well dissect this management disaster. It beats doing absolutely nothing, and since we're all on our way out eventually, we might as well watch Tom and the team drive this into the ground.
Like many folks, I do the bare minimum each day just to look busy. This forum is the most informative thing I read all day. If anyone has a problem with it, sack me. Until they do, I’m happy to keep doing the least amount possible and messing as much up as possible.

What a stupid question. Of course we can't be sure the workplace will be the same after we return from our holidays. All these rumours about a potential new buyer and potential sale including the recent job losses. Doesn't make it a very stable environment to work in.
One things for sure, Keyloop will be celebrating pride and the rise of feminism as a priority.
