Will there be any point in keeping Whole Foods alive once Amazon opens it's Fresh and Go stores throughout the country? If they carry the 365 Brand, as well as Organic offerings and conventional foods such as Kellogs and Coke, why would anyone bother with WFM?

Money is the God. People are expendable.
They will spend more on developing those amazon stores..wholefoo is just gonna be a vestigial entity in the more affluent areas..expect very little new store development for wholefoods going forward..
They wouldn't close all the current locations WF has if anything they would drop the WF name and call it whatever Amazon is naming itd stores.
as long as we make money and generate data we should be fine
