Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Bone us!

Thanks for the bonus that was paid for by hiring freezes and dunking on TM morale.
Also, good call, giving $1000, to store leadership. They definitely deserve it more than workers on the floor.

Depending on how your team is run and how duties are split up between your TL & ATL's there is quite a bit of office work that needs to be done by ATL's or the TL. Our TL wants his ATL's do cover most of the office work. If the ATL is making the schedule, that alone could potentially take an entire shift or more if you are doing it the way we are supposed to. I don't use Kronos because it's so broken. That cut 5-6 hours off my office time but it isn't what we are supposed to do. Then there's conference calls, trainings, counseling statements, punch edits, overnight differential forms ATL meetings, comm board documents, reports, recalls emails and all sorts of other random tedious nonsense we have to deal with. Becoming ATL from buyer tripled the amount of emails I get. We are also a combined team so we are covering two departments instead of one. As an ATL I spend most of my time on the floor but there are some days I just can't seem get out of the office even though I'd rather be abe on the floor working load and helping people.

Maybe the leadership group should manage the ATL group better so they got out of the office. That's great they help out in LMR but they should be leading not just covering the lack of ATL presence on the sakes floor.

Good. LMR store leadership is always on the floor helping out. Wish I could say the same about our department ATL'S (always sitting in front of a computer) like 7 hrs out of 8 hr shift .My TL spends more time on the sales floor than all department ATL'S in a day.

Mackey stopped caring before the sale and to say we ate skaves is insulting. The pay isn't great but it could be worse being a TM isnt a career. Waiting for WF to go back to the way it was 10+ years ago isnt going to happen.

My leadership team spends at least 8 of there 10hrs sitting in the office away from the public and the virus. So I think it’s only fair that we had our $2 taken away and got the pitty bonus that was taxed and risk our health and safety everyday. We are Amazon and Bezos slaves. We stopped being Whole Foods when Mackey sold out.

Think of it this was its more difficult to replace store leadership than it is the replace a TM. I'm not saying they work harder than some of the TM but if they are unhappy and leave its harder to back fill the position. If a TM gets upset and quits nobody cares there are an abundance of people to replace them. So if store leadership is unhappy there is a risk if a TM is unhappy its insignificant.
