I see some of my coworkers literally being overworked and nearing their breaking point. A see a lot of them slip further into depression because they feel like they’re stuck. Basically, they’re destroying themselves for a company that doesn’t care. We all need to realize this is just a job and at the end of the day it’s not worth the grief we put ourselves through. There are other jobs. If not right now, there will be. Remember that and stay strong. For your families, if not for anything else.

Agree! I see co-workers who have no life because they spend so much time working, micro-managing and having a “it won’t be right unless I do it” mentality. Good grief! It’s just a paycheck. It doesn’t bring real happiness. It only fills some void for that type of person.
Has anyone ever considered how much better off this company would be if it wasn’t so ‘next quarter’ results shortsighted and made a real effort to value their employees? We didn’t need to offshore anything...it was the beginning of the end of this moral sh–e hole.
Amen and well said
live below your means...in time you will never stress
Well said - it's not worth your health or time away from your family. The company doesn't care about your wellness, and it certainly doesn't appreciate hard work.
