Anyone over 60 left at the firm ?

Curious as to how BNYM gets away with blatant age discrimination. Maybe by keeping Todd.
Trying to think of a worse way to let people go. Send them a link to a portal that does not work and have them go figure it out themselves.

They cover their bases with the BE false ratings. Mine was put on my review not even by my immediate manager who knew what i was doing, but his boss. He knew it wasn't right but just said they need to do a certain amount. I knew what it meant- everyday I came in was potentially the last.

I was let go last March, and just turned 60. I got a call from someone who was just let go this month in the same boat. Apparently they hired 4 young employees after I was let go. I can't say I miss the place one bit, but would've liked to get in 2 more years towards retirement. It's not like I wasn't busy. I was doing the work of two people. Definitely age discrimination, and I said so on the way out the door.

Charlie would have never let that happen. He would have had a back up link and Santomassimo doing hot line duty. It's like the kids went west to dig for gold and left grandpa in charge to tend to the sheep.
