Has anyone not received a year end review yet? For those who have received a year end review, how did it go?

It is always the same story. Forced ranking but not calling it rank. Instead it is called "below". Top decides the number - x%. Business unit level senior managers pick the names - after taking care of their close pals. Floor managers have to do the job of communicating and coming up with points to support the BE. Simply put, just reverse of how performance management has to be done.
Got Below Expectations based not delivering on something that wasn't a goal and is outside my control. Will I be cut later in the year?? I've no motivation to work hard anymore.
Think of the performance of a business like you going to the gym. The more you workout = the more muscle you build = the more you grow = the more looks you get = the more girls/ guys you attract. The more a business performs = the more profits it makes = the more it grows = the more looks it receives stock goes up = the more clients it attracts.
which trait of what i described above does BNY fit in? if you say none then you have your answer
a regressing business cannot pay out progressive wages
Were managers supposed to have given year end reviews by now?
Same old. Thanks for your efforts and keep up the good work. Not much excitement. I expect the same old everything these days. But, it’s a job. Yay.
In-line. No surprise if your expectations are set appropriately. The new bonus is that you are “lucky” to have a job there, although that has been the case for a couple years.
It’s the same story. Demotivating tactics. Forced rankings. Managers trying to work as well as they can under the given circumstances with no wiggle room, hoping their staff understands but knowing deep inside they don’t.
It’s not just b–ching from someone who doesn’t know better.
