I highly doubt we're all going back to the office on April 5th. The majority of your average joes have not been vaccinated yet and there's also the rise of COVID variants that is lowering some of the current vaccine's efficacy.

They are supposed to announce a new date soon, or not at all, but still being discussed and debated.

I’m not going back till I can get the vaccine and that probably won’t be till summer. Too many health problems already... with this new strain out, who knows how long this will go on....

I would say July. Management is really pushing forward and trying to get people back in the office.

Some positions cannot be staggered and have to be sone during trading hours. They can't get anything right.

Let me think about that. 4+ hour round trip commute riding packed trains, subways....sitting in tight quarters thanks to the close desks.....and so on. What’s the rush to go back????

They really need to figure something out and send people back in the office because half of my team does not do their work!l Sick of picking up the slack. From East Syracuse Billing. What a joke!

First they have to figure out how there going to fit everyone from Syracuse and Oriskany in the same building. We've heard we may have to share cubicles to a staggered work day. Some will also work from home full or part time. However this being BNY Mellon, they find some way to mess it up.

They’ve already sent people back to oriskany site. Last round was July . Makes no sense when the work can be done home for one and there were emails going on too often recently in my opinion of people having covid or family having covid. Send them back home cause it’s not safe and not necessary to be in there. Especially when a lot of people decide it’s cool to travel out of state and bring their diseased asses back to infect people. There’s no cafe that can be used, restricted bathrooms and break areas and no conference rooms can be used . What’s the point of being there

Not in King of Prussia or East Syracuse.

There's a liability to the firm if you go back and get COVID, but no liability if you get sick at home. My guess is that they wait until more people are vaccinated. Probably end of summer

More than half of kids are back at school, and 10% of the country has already had it. Over the holidays there were tons of large parties in my neighborhood. I"m sure plenty of people will be more than happy to go back.

I'd like to return to an office, but I had hoped they'd be rethinking their floorplans and cubicle setups. Even before covid, I have been getting really frustrated with how many illnesses I get through cold/flu season. The cramped, open floorplans and short cubicle walls were a shockingly bad decision from American companies.

Nope. September and that will be limited.
Unless you are essential or burning to go back my guess would be plan on 2022.

I would be very surprised if it’s April. I occasionally go into the office and outside of boxing up and locking away everyone’s desk contents, nothing has been done to reconfigure our open floor for social distancing.
